On the territory of the national Park there are tracts with warm radon springs, where there are huge trees - willows. Radon waters are considered to be healing and help a person to recover from many diseases. 700-year-old willow grows on one of the tracts named Kosbastau, its branches are in the form of thick trunks rest on the ground, and several people can grasp the tree, holding hands. The tree is considered sacred and according to legend, its damage brings death. According to legend, in the 12th century under this willow rested formidable Genghis Khan with his army during the campaign in Central Asia.
