The Przewalski horse belongs to the subspecies of wild horses, is one of the rarest representatives of the equidae family, in the country there are about 10 individuals.
Their lifestyle is typically equine; they form small herds of females and foals, headed by adult stallions. Young males who do not have their own herds also keep in groups. Loschad Przhevalsky was distributed in the territory of Western Kazakhstan. The last natural habitat of this species was Dzungaria, where at the beginning of the twentieth century several individuals were caught, which gave rise to a population that was bred in captivity and made it possible to preserve this species of horses on the planet. At present, in the territory of "Altyn-Emel", there are horses in semi-free keeping, from which the offspring are obtained.
The main goal is to pass on to future generations the pasture horses listed in the Red Book.
