On July 29, by Department of Science SNNP was held a scientific seminar for office employees of the national park on the topic of rare ungulates (argali, kulan, gazelle) and rare birds.

 

Researchers - the theriologist and ornithologist introduced the participants to monitoring results of rare ungulates and birds (population dynamics, territorial distribution, nutrition, rut, calving, mortality, migration and roaming, behavior, the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors).

 

The scientific and practical recommendations were proposed for save and restoration of the number of kulan, gazelles, argali, and of rare birds.

 

A discussion of the results was held, answers to questions were given of seminar participants
